Most French verbs — well over half of all verbs in the language — end in -er in the infinitive: parler (to speak), manger (to eat), aimer (to like/love). They're the most regular group: drop -er from the infinitive and add -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent.
Parler conjugates as je parle, tu parles, il/elle parle, nous parlons, vous parlez, ils/elles parlent. Note that the je, tu, il/elle, and ils/elles forms are all pronounced identically despite their different spellings — in speech, the subject pronoun is what actually carries the person, not the verb ending.
