One of the most common Spanish verbs — to cover, in every sense from physically covering something to insurance covering costs to a journalist covering a story. Its past participle is irregular: cubierto, not cubrido.
The past participle is cubierto, an irregular form learners often try to regularize to "cubrido" — la mesa está cubierta, never cubrida.
