atipujarse

A regional colloquialism from Guatemala and parts of Central America meaning to stuff oneself with food quickly, often greedily — se atipujó de tamales. Like atiparse, it's playful, informal, and tied to a specific dialect area.

• Se atipujó de tamales en la posada. — He stuffed himself with tamales at the posada.
• No te atipujes tan rápido, te vas a ahogar. — Don't wolf your food down so fast, you'll choke.
