Croitre (without the circumflex) is the 1990 spelling-reform form of croître — the reform dropped the circumflex from most î/û spellings that don't affect pronunciation, though croître famously kept it in some conjugated forms specifically to avoid colliding with croire. Both spellings are accepted today, but croître remains the more common form in print.
